High in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Lake Tahoe and Truckee is the mountain home of Gary Schroeder. Sometimes Gary hangs out on the deck. But when the snow on the deck gets too deep, he just shovels enough to get down the stairs and leaves the rest. If he wants to go to town, he has to clear the driveway with a snowblower. But most of the time, he hangs out in the living room or by the stove unless he is on site as a computer consultant or designing WEB pages for clients of ZexTek.

It doesn't always snow in the Sierras. Here are views without snow from the front and from the rear.

Hippie Nostalgia

I arrived in the Haight Ashbury in late 1966 and lived in San Francisco for the next 12 years. During that time, I went to many concerts at the Avalon Ballroom, Fillmore Auditorium, California Hall and Winterland. I collected posters and handbills at those shows.

This house is for sale. Click here to download a flyer. I am planning on living in my 23.5 Lazy Daze motor home as a full timer. I've started a blog which will follow my adventures on the road. Please follow along at On the Road with Gary.

Here is some nice art work of Pot Stickers.
